Nvidia will get into netbooks
Nvidia will start to get into the world of netbooks in 2009. With this arrival ends the dominance of Intel’s GMA Copacabana 100% of the models.
The company wants to create a platform that supports the Atom chipset and GeForce 9400 and by combining these two plates to get a really interesting platform.

AMD launched a low-cost laptops
New for the year 2009 in the net book market.
A few days ago we announced Nvidia’s entry in the market and its intentions to develop a superior graphics platform for Intel GMA (intel got hit at first but seems to have given his arm twisted) is now announcing that AMD enters market with a new policy
Since AMD have been watching the market trend and have decided to launch low-cost laptops 14 inches and weight and offer their reasons.
AMD plans to launch “ultra large” because they see an ultraportable as a device to be used as a second PC or for use on and off for travel, but say they can not work 10 hours straight on a computer screen 10 inches.
Therefore intends to launch AMD laptops with a 14-inch display and low power processors, both mononuclear and dual-core platform having a consumption, CPU and chipset / IGP less than 20W.
This AMD aims to fill the gap between a netbook and a laptop.
Interesting moves that portend a fierce struggle in this market marked by the appearance of computers with the Intel Atom Dual Core in 2009 and his rival from AMD.
