Intel Atom 330 Dual Core

We are experiencing a time of change in the field of processors, it does not matter only the gigahertz, or performance. It is beginning to value energy efficiency, and because of that they are designing processors with reduced consumption and as a sufficient return for what tasks. The latest proposal by Intel’s dual-core processor Atom 330.

The Intel Atom 330 dual-core will be the first family, and thanks to two threads per core processes we are talking about a reduced power processor capable of handling four simultaneous threads to 1.6 Ghz. The FSB is 533MHz but is due to the Atom chipset platform.

Given that the cache is replicated on a core version, Atom 230, and has other additional core was expected to see consumption doubled, but in this case, the TDP remains at only 8 watts , only two watts more than the Atom 230.

Not yet know the price range to sell or an exact date, but Intel has said it will for the third quarter of the year, so we expected a summer release imminent positioned between ultra and the new range of Atom processors.
